PLAY Junior Golf Tour Policies & Procedures 2022
Team West will consist of: Markham, Whitby, Aurora, Halton Hills, Richmond Hill and Brampton
Team East will consist of: South Grenville, Rideau St. Lawrence, Smiths Falls, Kemptville, Ottawa and OHA
Each team registered in the Leo Boivin Showcase will be asked to submit names for events being held during the 2022 Ingredion Skills Competition. All 12 teams will submit a name for Fastest Skater, Hardest Shooter, and Breakaway Sniper Relay. All teams will submit a name for the Goalie for the Breakaway Sniper Relay Shoot out, but only 4 will compete. Goalies will be chosen based on their round robin performance (goals against average).
Event #1: Fastest Skater
- 2 Skaters (match up at random, one Team East vs Team West) will line up on opposite sides of center ice
- At whistle – skaters will skate (Counterclockwise) around the arena (behind goalie nets)
back to where they started.
- Advancing to Semi Finals is based on skaters TIME of their lap.
- Semi Finals will consist of top 2 fastest times from East vs top 2 fastest times from West
- Finals will consist of top 2 fastest times of Semi Finals **Could be from the same Team**
Skater with Fastest TIME will be declared the winner.
Event #2: Hardest Shot
- 12 players – 1 from each team
- 2 shots per player
Hardest shot recorded is declared the winner
