Camp Highlights:
- Participants will learn to play golf through topics related to etiquette, rules, fundamentals, short game, long game and course management. Instructional curriculum will come from the Future Links “Learn to Play” document.
- Technology such as V1 and BodiTraks will be used to assist golfers in their progression.
- Juniors will have his/her swing captured on video throughout the week to discuss
- Golfers will develop athletic skills needed for golf through agility, balance, strength, flexibility, coordination activities based on fitness drills from the TPI.
- Juniors will participate in a Drive, Chip, Putt challenge
- Golfers will be divided up into a variety of groups throughout the week depending on the activity.
- Golfers will experience other sports to connect different athletic movements
- On course play daily; number of holes will depend on ability level & availability
- Daily & weekly challenges will be presented for them, example putting competition, trick shots, best dressed, etc.
- Celebration with lunch/prizes on the Friday for the kids
